Leadership & Life Together

The Wesley Company is stewarded by a Council of Guides who are senior members who provide spiritual and organizational guidance. Founding Guides are Rusty Freeman, Mark Swayze, and Ryan Barnett.

The Company is led and operated by The Curia which includes the Abbot, Vicar, Steward, Scribe, and Priorate.

Members participate in Houses composed of 12–20 members organized by patron saint and led by a Prior.

The Company gathers for an annual convocation. At this Christmas Conference, members of the Company reaffirm commitments, welcome new members, honor the departed, and conduct sacred business.

Members commit to a Rule of Life which includes prayer, scripture reading, worship, confession, fasting, hospitality, tithing, and works of mercy and justice. Initiates join by sacred vow pledging to pursue entire sanctification through stability, submission, charity, and devotion.

Discipline, Reconciliation, and Removal

Discipline is exercised in love aiming for restoration, not punishment. Grounds for discipline include violation of vows, misconduct, false teaching, division, or neglect of duties. The disciplinary process involves private admonition, Council review, restorative measures, and possible expulsion (with hope for restoration).

Therefore, in gratitude for the grace that has called us, and in the spirit of the Wesley brothers
and the people called Methodists, we consecrate ourselves as The Wesley Company – a fraternity
of holiness, community, and mission for the glory of God, the renewal of the Church, and the
salvation of the world.
“The best of all is, God is with us.” – John Wesley
